Art has always been something that makes me feel human in a busy and chaotic world. It is also a way of connecting with others; it’s another language.
For me, Art has always been a deep form of expression. Creativity took hold early in my youth, with endless doodling as a child, to the point where I got a stern talk from the teacher after class because of my lack of homework. Early Influences came from 90s cartoons like Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes, and Disney, as well as Sunday comic strips such as Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, The Boondocks, and Zits.
Over time, a distinct artistic voice emerged, re-imagining nostalgic cartoon characters against chaotic, abstract backgrounds bursting with color. This fusion of nostalgia and expressive abstraction brings immense joy, not just in the creation process but in witnessing the delight it sparks in others. Seeing viewers light up when they recognize a beloved character from their past is a reminder that my art exists: to evoke emotion, connection and a sense of nostalgia.
